Analyzing your cash flow is a necessity in the real estate business. Depending on your vacancy rates and the different rental payments you receive from tenants, your cash flow could fluctuate drastically each month. The only way to successfully grow your business is to know how much money is coming in and what your monthly expenses are going out.
Again, this Cash Flow Analysis form is simple to use but will yield a wealth of information all on one sheet of paper. Simply go down the list and fill in the numbers and then analyze where costs can be cut, how to decrease your vacancy rates, or how much to increase rental amounts. Some people like to do this monthly, others do this task quarterly. The frequency is up to you but don’t let this part of your business management slide.
As always, our attorneys make us say it… these forms are for reference only and you should always pass any forms you use for your business by a competent attorney in your local area to make sure they jive with all state, federal, and local law.
