Excellent Short Sale Real Estate Investing Courses – 2 Reviews

Hey, the other day a reader of our newsletter named Pete shot us an email asking about the best short sale courses out there.

Well… it’s kinda funny timing but I already had a review of a short sale course set to come out this week… and the second short sale course thats in this post actually is relaunching this week… and they’re giving away their free 300+ page Short Sale Success Blueprint book (a real book… not an ebook) this week just for the cost of shipping and handling.

I’ve gone through about 13 short sale courses in the past 6 months and have seen some really crappy and overpriced ones out there.

But…

The two I’m going to go over here stood above the rest as 2 of the probably 3 or 4 (of the 13) that I would honestly feel great about recommending to a friend .

So here you go Pete (and everyone else looking to get great education on short sales at a great value).

#1: Short Sale Success Blueprint – Strategic Real Estate Coach

The first one is kind of a two part thingy.

First, they have a book called the Short Sale Success Blueprint that is a hard copy book that’s a part of their high priced home study course.   They’re actually relaunching their program this week and are giving away their entire written portion of the home study course (all compiled into this book) just for the cost of shipping and handling.

I did a little review of their short sale manifesto a couple months back… head on over if you want to check it out.

I forked over my own credit card when they launched it last time around (in August) and truly was impressed w/ the detailed instructions and resources in the book on everything from:

• How to find short sales (marketing examples)
• How to negotiate short sales
• How to sell your short sales
• Specific BPO and negotiation techniques they’ve adapted to the current market
• etc. (I’m really not doing it justice with these 4 bullet points).

Long story short. .. I think I paid $10-$15 for the book/manual… and that alone is more than enough education to help someone be successful in short saling real estate.

You can actually head over and check out some free videos they’re putting out that have a ton of content in them as they are… then if you’re interested you can grab the manual when they launch (I think on Thursday).

Part two of the Short Sale Success Blueprint is their monthly coaching program… which is actually the reason that they’re giving their book away.

Here’s the deal, they are giving this book away (which is of huge value) and you also get a 30 day free trial to their Short Sale Strategic Coaching program.  I bought the book in August, went through the program for 30 days (I downloaded a ton of stuff to my computer and am still going through it)… and since I don’t do short sales I actually cancelled before the 30 day free trial was up.

But…

If you’re doing short sales, this course and monthly program is the most in-depth coaching on short sales that I’ve EVER SEEN or been a part of.  They break it down so good and give you all of the forms, flow charts, training videos, coaching calls, Q&A sessions, etc. that you can basically just enroll in that program and not need anything else for short sales.

That’s how strongly I feel about their program if you’re doing short sales.

Their monthly coaching program isn’t cheap… it’s $197 a month … but if you do short sales it’s a drop in the bucket compared to what you get and what you WILL GET when you apply what they teach.

At The Least… Get The Free Manual…

At the least, I would pay the $15 and get the free manual shipped to your door… then cancel the coaching program if you don’t want to continue with it.

If I had to grade their short sale training I would say it’s a 4.85 out of 5 (nearly perfect… the highest I’ve rated a short sale course to date)

#2: Short Sales Riches Program (the Short Sale Kid)

This short sale program is one that kind of jumped on the market a couple months back out of nowhere.  And, funny thing is… but the guy that created the course (Nathan Jurewicz ) actually is a student with Josh Cantwell and the Short Sale Blueprint guys. Actually, there are two guys who made the course… one is a real estate attorney and realtor… the other is a kid who figured out a short sale system and started kicking ass.

Nathan has taken what he’s learned and over the past several years built up a huge short sale business that does 20-30 closings a MONTH .  This is no kidding… 20 – 30 a month.

I actually bought Nathan’s course a month or so back and went through it all in one weekend.  It’s broken down very good and he doesn’t throw a ton of extra stuff at you that you don’t need.

The thing that’s different about this course than the others I’ve seen is that Nathan has created a true system that has a team of people around him basically finding, negotiating, and selling the deals for him.  It’s pretty darn cool how he breaks it down in the manuals, audios, and the forms.

Their HUD Generator is pretty cool too and it makes things way quicker.

Anyhow, the Short Sale Riches program is a home study course and when I bought it it ran $497… and it’s truly worth well over 15-20 times that just in the forms he gives you and how he breaks it down how he’s developed a system to actually work with realtors and motivate them to work with you rather than having it feel like pulling teeth to work with realtors.

The Free Part Of The Short Sales Riches Stuff

Like always, Nathan and his partner give away some great free information… and their newsletter is one of the top 5 most informative newsletters (free too) with current market info that affects real estate… so it’s worth it to just get on their newsletter list even if you’re not in the market to buy their course.

Nathan also put out a couple great videos that show an inside look at his business… and I personally know a couple people who are friends with Nathan and they vouch that he’s the real deal.

My Final Thoughts On Short Sale Courses

Okay, my final thoughts are that these two courses are my top 2 picks for short sale courses that work in TODAY’S market.

The Short Sale Success Blueprint guys are probably my #1 choice just because the depth that they go into in both their free book and their monthly program is outrageous… and they make it affordable for most of us.

And… second is Nathan’s Short Sale Riches home study course because he has created the coolest short sale business system that I’ve ever seen and he’s truly the real deal.  His course breaks it down so easily in the audios, forms, and manuals that it’s a huge value for what you pay.

Try both, try one… try none… I really don’t care.  But, if you’re looking for short sale education forget the damn bootcamps, or ebooks… and go with one of these two courses because they aren’t overpriced… and are truly the best info on short sales the market has to offer right now.
