Free Waterbed Agreement Form

Years ago there was a time when everybody and their mother had a waterbed because it was the cool thing to have. Although they may not be the popular “in” thing today, you might just find a tenant who refuses to give up this luxury. Creating a Waterbed Agreement that states certain parameters for having a waterbed is an important way to protect yourself and your property investment.

Notice in our form that we require the tenant to carry liability insurance. This is more than just “renter’s insurance”. If that waterbed springs a leak, not only will that tenant’s dwelling be damaged but the possibility of leaking into another dwelling is very high. If your tenant decides to cut corners and sneaks a waterbed into the dwelling, a signed waterbed agreement will make your collection of damages easier to pursue in court if the agreement is not followed completely. We never like to think of those situations but they do occur!
